We are so excited for everything on the horizon this year. We hope your 2024 holds lots of hope and potential as well!
We now have several Estuary systems in operation in Oregon and California, a few at tiny homes and a few at traditional single family homes. All systems have been performing well, even into the colder months.
There is much more information about the Estuary available on our website, including manuals, technical info, images of systems in use, and more. Check it out!
We’re hard at work using our newly awarded EPA funding to adapt our greywater reuse technology to handle blackwater. This would allow households to recycle all household wastewater. An Estuary system could replace a failing septic system or cesspool, eliminating environmental contamination and health risks, all while producing 50 gallons or more of clean water for reuse every day.
We’re already testing our blackwater solution in Oregon, and so far the results have been even better than expected. The system is currently undergoing performance testing and regulatory approval.
Our work to adapt our planter-based system to work as a greenwall continues with great promise, as well. We’re currently testing designs and plants in this vertical format.
We've partnered with WAI: Wastewater Alternatives & Innovations to bring our plant-powered water reuse solutions to Hawai'i. LeapFrog Design's Estuary greywater reuse system can help Hawai'ians convert cesspools and failing septic systems to new wastewater systems that are affordable, efficient, and better for the environment.
